We engage with young people, teachers, and communities to promote engineering as a rewarding career. Through partnerships with educational and industry organisations, and our Born to Engineer initiative, we help build the pipeline of future engineering talent that the UK needs.

We work to ensure that the Government and policymakers understand the vital contribution engineering and manufacturing make to the UK economy. Through research, advocacy, and collaboration with industry bodies and relevant think tanks, we help shape the conditions that allow the sector to thrive.

We provide direct financial support to individual engineers and organisations through fellowships, grants, and strategic investments. Working with partners including the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Commission of 1851, we help bridge the gap between research and commercial success.
