The Arkwright Engineering Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship of its type in the UK to inspire and nurture school-age students to be the country’s future leaders of the Engineering Profession.
The Scholarships are awarded to high-calibre 16-year-old students through a rigorous selection process and support students through the two years of their A-levels, Scottish Advanced Highers or equivalent qualifications.
The ERA Foundation support five Engineering Scholarship through the Arkwright scholarship scheme.
The 2017 deadline for applications are:
- Teachers nominate students by 19th Dec 2016
- Students send completed applications to teachers by 12th Jan 2017
- Teachers submit completed applications to Arkwright by 19th Jan 2017
- Aptitude Exam to be sat on afternoon of 1st Feb 2017
- Interviews are held mid-March to mid-April 2017
- Administration fee to be paid by 21st April 2017
