The Prize with a value of £300,000 has been awarded for Yang’s outstanding research aimed at developing a new generation of antennas for use particularly in satellite communications and in the aerospace industry. The research could lead to faster and cheaper mobile phones with improved coverage. We were delighted to hear this news and look forward to seeing Yang conduct further world-leading research offering a major benefit to society.
